Hamas today shot close to 200 rockets and mortars into Israel. Three people were injured when one rocket hit their house.

The man in this video is lucky to be alive!

This is just one of the scenes of shock and horror that took place on the streets of Southern Israel today due to the non-stop barrage of Hamas rockets.

House Hit

This is the house that was hit. A father and two daughters were injured.

According to Magen David Adom, a 14-year-old girl was lightly wounded in her legs, a 15-year-old was lightly wounded with injuries to her face from broken glass and a 52-year-old man was in moderate condition after sustaining a chest wounded. All were evacuated to the nearest hospital for treatment.

The father, Aharon Buchris, described the incident from his hospital bed.

“We were sitting in the living room, and the glass fell on us,” Buchris, 50, said. “The entire house was filled with smoke, and we were filled with blood. We got shrapnel in us, my daughters were also injured. We were shocked.”

A Synagogue and children’s playground were also hit. Here is a video of the playground being hit. Thank goodness no children were out playing then.

IDF Spokesman

In the last 24 hours (Saturday), approximately 200 mortars and rockets were launched from the Gaza Strip towards Israeli territory under the direction and leadership of the Hamas terror organization. Approximately 20 projectiles were intercepted by the Iron Dome aerial defense system and some 73 projectiles landed in open areas.

Throughout the day, the IDF targeted dozens of Hamas terror targets in the Gaza Strip, including a Hamas high-rise urban training facility and a terror tunnel that had been dug underneath, two additional terror tunnels, a Hamas Battalion HQ in Beit Lahia and dozens of other terror targets in several military compounds.

The IDF holds Hamas accountable for everything that happens in the Gaza Strip. The IDF is prepared for a wide variety of scenarios and is ready to take whatever steps necessary to insure security. Israel has declared that the Israeli Army response will intensify according to the situation assessment and the operational need. The IDF is determined to continue to implement its mission to defend Israeli civilians.
