WhatsappAs Israel begins to prepare for war with Iran and a possible preemptive strike on the Radical Islamic nation’s nuclear program, the Tehran Times publishes a front page article that appears to show target on a map of Israel.
The Tehran Times is considered a mouthpiece for the Iranian regime. However, it is not clear how accurate the map on the site is. The Iranians have advanced long range missile capabilities, which means they can hit Israel fairly accurately and quickly.
The article should be understood on two fronts. The first as a sort of reaction to Israel publicly saying that it is preparing to attack Iran if the nuclear talks do not go in the right way. The second way to understand the article is a message to Israel and the West that Iran is prepared and capable of hitting every place in Israel.
None of this should be shocking as Hezbollah has more than one hundred thousand rockets and missiles directed at Israel. Given the capabilities of both Iran and Hezbollah, any strike by Israel on Iran could elicit a devastating response by Iran and/or its proxies.
