Israel’s South is using the desert to do the impossible

You might hear about how Israel is a lot of desert land. But what Israel’s South is doing is creating something out of that desert land.

Israel’s South is Creating an Oasis

Israel’s South has made news headlines for being bombarded with rockets. You would think that maybe they would be scared to build in the chance it might be destroyed. Or you might think that the people there are mentally and physically exhausted from all the rocket attacks and that they have no energy left to do something productive.

But obviously, you can see that is not true.

How many countries can be put into the same sentence as agriculture, desert, and hi-tech? And because of Israel’s persistence and ability to make use of what G-d gave to the land, Israel has helped other nations as well.

The Nature of Israelis

The nature of Israelis is to be strong-willed and stubborn. Israelis do not take no for an answer. Otherwise, how would there be a Jewish state? And who would defend it after being repeatedly attacked? The country and the Jewish people need these Israeli character traits to exist.

Mark Twain and Israel

If Mark Twain was alive today, he would never believe that Israel became what it did.

In 1867, Mark Twain said, “…[a] desolate country whose soil is rich enough, but is given over wholly to weeds-a silent mournful expanse…A desolation is here that not even imagination can grace with the pomp of life and action…We never saw a human being on the whole route…There was hardly a tree or a shrub anywhere. Even the olive and the cactus, those fast friends of the worthless soil, had almost deserted the country.”

Well, nothing is deserting the country now!
