Israel just gave a birthday present for US President Donald Trump that is also a huge gift for the nation of Israel.
Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu just announced the approval to build 300 new homes in Trump Heights, the new town in the Golan Heights named after U.S. President Donald Trump. Israel named this new town after President Trump as a thank you for his administration’s official US recognition of Israeli sovereignty in the Golan Heights. Israel applied sovereignty to the Golan Heights back in 1981, yet President Trump is the first US President to recognize our sovereignty. For this we are grateful.
At the start of Sunday’s Cabinet meeting, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, “Today, we will begin practical steps in establishing the community of Trump Heights on the Golan Heights, Israel’s sovereignty over which was recognized by President Trump.”
Settlement Affairs Minister Tzipi Hotoveley wrote on Facebook: “Today, the government approved the decision on the establishment of Trump Heights on the Golan Heights and the Ministry of Settlement Affairs began its work on providing approval to make it suitable for 300 families.”
I was blessed to visit Trump Heights a few months ago with Congressmen Jim Jordan and Congressman Mark Johnson as part of the Yes! Israel Project. They were just as excited as we were…just watch the video above.
