Israel struck Syria late Thursday night, blowing up a large Iranian arms depot just outside of Damascus.
Despite Russian warnings to Israel to stop attacking Iranian targets in Syria, the IDF appears be fully committed to bombing strategic sites in Syria.
This attack hit a wide swath of sites in southwest Syria that had been used by the Iranians to store advanced weapons before shipping them to Hezbollah. Israel attacks these sites on a regular basis in order to keep these sorts of weapons out of the hands of Hezbollah.
The attack on Syria Thursday night has big significance in that it is the first attack after Iran announced it can already build a nuclear weapon.
