The IDF says Hezbollah launch sites, terror infrastructure, and operatives were destroyed in one of the largest strike waves in recent days.
According to the IDF, the strikes focused heavily on launch infrastructure, military compounds, and terror facilities used by Hezbollah to carry out attacks against Israeli forces and civilians. In the Beqaa Valley and southern Lebanon, approximately 10 rocket-launching sites were struck after being identified as active platforms used by Hezbollah operatives to fire rockets toward Israeli territory and IDF positions.
The military also confirmed that Israeli aircraft targeted a Hezbollah training camp in the Brital area of the Beqaa Valley, a region long considered one of Hezbollah’s major strongholds and logistical hubs tied to Iranian-backed military activity. The site was reportedly used for operational training and preparations connected to ongoing attacks against Israel.
In addition to the broader strike campaign, the Israeli Air Force conducted overnight attacks against roughly 15 separate Hezbollah military infrastructures in the Tyre region of southern Lebanon. The IDF stated that these facilities were being used to advance terror operations and coordinate attacks against Israeli targets.
The military also released footage showing the elimination of a Hezbollah terrorist cell moments after the operatives exited a rocket-launch site. According to the IDF, the squad had been operating from a launch area used to fire rockets at Israeli forces. Israeli aircraft tracked the operatives after the launch activity and carried out a precision strike before they could flee the area.
The latest wave of attacks signals Israel’s continued strategy of systematically degrading Hezbollah’s launch capabilities, command infrastructure, and operational freedom throughout southern Lebanon and the Beqaa region. Israeli defense officials have repeatedly warned that Hezbollah’s ongoing rocket fire and military buildup near the border will continue to draw increasingly aggressive Israeli responses.
The strikes come amid rising regional tensions and ongoing concerns that the northern front could escalate into a broader and more sustained conflict between Israel and the Iranian-backed terror organization.
