Israel bombed Aleppo, Syria last night – taking out Iranian installations.
In response, Hamas and Islamic Jihad fired multiple rockets from Gaza into Israel. Israel has now opened up bomb shelters across the country.
The back and forth between Iran and Israel has been heating up in Lebanon and Syria over the past month. in the past this sort of thing would not have mattered, but with Russia and China clearly backing Iran, any attack has multiple ramifications.
While rockets into Israel from Gaza are not out of the ordinary – they may only be the beginning.
