It is a well known fact that the new Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi is looking to capitalize on the political turmoil in Israel. The Bennett-Lapid-Abbas government is inexperienced, unstable, and untested.

With the Biden team pulling the USA out of the Middle East in stages and the new Israeli government lacking the international experience of it s predecessor, there is widespread agreement that Iran will use Hezbollah to attack Israel.

However, Iran would be making a mistake assuming that Israel’s political leadership[ indicative of where it stands militarily. General Aviv Kochavi who has now been given an extension is seen by all sides as a stable and professional leader in complete control of the IDF.
