Iranian Immigrant on Omar & Tlaib
Amir Fakhravar is the Iranian immigrant speaking here. He is a constitutional law professor and senate chairman of the National Iranian Congress. Fakhravar has had enough of Congresswomen Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib. Their anti-American views have no place in the United States. Amir himself was imprisoned and tortured in Iran for standing up against the oppressive regime of Iran. He knows what tyranny is, and America is the farthest thing from it.
No one is forcing Omar and Tlaib to stay in America. So if they hate the country so much, the country that they are supposed to be representing, then they can just leave! Their attitude has no place in this democracy. (Although he makes excellent points, it should be noted that he incorrectly calls Israel “Palestine” instead of Israel).
America Offers Freedom
About America, Amir said, “This is the best country on the planet.” He respects the values of America. Omar and Tlaib want to bring over laws that completely go against American values. And this Iranian immigrant says absolutely not! Why would they try to bring over laws from places like Somalia, a country which as Amir describes is “a mess.”
Why can’t more people see the truth? Why are there Americans who support Congresswomen Omar and Tlaib? It is the most illogical thing! If they support them, they really are not supporting America and American values. And that is just shameful. America needs people to represent it who actually will stand up for Western values. Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib are most definitely not doing that.
