Iran Infiltrates Israel’s Defense Minister’s Computer

by Micha Gefen

While it is usually Israel who gets all the accolades in terms of its spying on Iran, this time it was Iran who was able to get one over Israel.

An Iranian spy was caught working for Israel’s Defense Minister, Benny Gantz. He was suspected of installing some sort of computer virus on the Defense Minister’s laptop. Omry Goren Gorochovsky, 37 and his wife worked as cleaners in Gantz’s private home in Rosh Hayin where he was able to use his access to break into the then former Chief of Staff’s laptop.

Interestingly, it was at that time that the government found out that Iran had hacked Benny Gantz’s cellphone. It appears that Goren continued to funnel information via Telegram to Iranian agents.

So with this revelation can we honestly say that Iran has not already invaded?
