Despite the blustering – is this sort of grandstanding really meant to prepare the world for a potential attack on Iran or is it just showmanship?
Right now, given the weakness of Israel’s government, most world leaders believe that no strike is forthcoming. Yet the tension and Iran’s closing in on nuclear breakout is beginning to get many worried that something might happen. And so the Western world is attempting before everything falls apart to show some sort of strength – even if it is not serous.
