Two Israelis were killed when Hezbollah missiles hit Nahariya earlier today. Hezbollah also sent long range missiles towards the greater Tel Aviv area sending hundreds of thousands into shelters.
“Large Magen David Adom teams were dispatched to the scenes, including ambulances, mobile intensive care units (MICUs), and MDA responders on medicycles, who quickly arrived at the location. In the Nahariya area, after resuscitation efforts, MDA paramedics were had to pronounce the deaths of two males in their 40s who were hit by the rocket. Near the Kabri junction, MDA EMTs and paramedics treated a male and female, aged about 30 and 40, who were mildly injured in their legs by shrapnel after exiting their vehicle when the siren sounded and lying down by the side of the road.
MDA EMT, Dor Vaknin, who was at the scene in the Nahariya area, said, “It was a warehouse that was hit by a rocket. We arrived quickly at the location, where there was extensive damage and an active fire. Near the building, two males in their 40s were lying about one meter apart, with multiple shrapnel injuries. We tried to provide medical treatment and save their lives, but the injuries were critical, and we had to pronounce their deaths shortly after.”
The direct hits today came after yesterday’s barrage on northern Israel. Despite the IDF’s claim that they are making progress against Hezbollah infrastructure - no end seems in sight and a true invasion appears more necessary than ever before to finally end the carnage.
