What a speech this is! The way Bari Weiss spoke was beyond powerful. And the reason it’s even more powerful is because it’s coming from someone like her. She was a Leftist. She was part of the side of the political spectrum that she now is speaking up against. She quit being a New York Times editor because of the disturbing turn that the well-known newspaper took. Bari had enough, and she wasn’t afraid to say it. It takes courage to speak up against those around you. It’s brave to quit a job like that and be so public about it.
Weiss has a good head on her shoulders. She speaks up for what’s right. And this speech should be heard by all. It’s just that good! Her words must not be taken lightly or brushed off.
Let’s pray that no more antisemitic, brutal acts get added to her list. Let’s pray for a positive change in the world. And let’s pray that those who need to hear Bari Weiss’ message will hear it.
