WhatsappLod has recently made headlines because of the Arab violence in the city of “coexistence.” And look what this family of 11 did.
Moving to Lod from Samaria
Although thank G-d things have calmed down recently in Lod, the city that has a mixed population of Jews and Arabs had erupted with Arab violence just a couple months ago. You would think people would want to move out. But instead, Jews are moving in.
All of Israel belongs to the Jewish people. Despite the fact that the Arabs are trying to drive the Jews out, and despite the fact that the world claims otherwise, the Jewish people are not leaving Israel. They have no plans to run away. The fact that a family of 11 would move out of their comfortable home to a smaller home to help support the Jewish community in Lod is just unbelievable. This family is giving up their own personal comforts for the good of the Jewish people and the state of Israel. It’s not common to find people who are so unselfish.
It is just proof that the entire Jewish nation is one family. They don’t need to know each other personally to feel a deep connection. The whole story here is that of ultimate kindness. A family moving to a new neighborhood to help support the community, and then the community itself helping the family and welcoming them with open arms.
If only we could all be so loving and caring toward our fellow man, the world would be a different place.
