The famous Coca Cola company, a drink that everyone has come to know and love. The company was born in the 1800s in the United States and now is known throughout the world. Over the years Coca Cola has produced many different kinds of commercials. They have produced a commercial for each holiday, for each type of drink they make. It is making that there are so many!
Jewish Experience
This is a one of a kind Jewish experience, one that only happens once a year. Many Jews in the week leading up to the Festival of the New Year. Get up early or stay up late to say Selichot. This is the time where we ask God for forgiveness. The prayers are from different places in the Bible, where the theme is forgiveness.
Additionally, the festival of the New Year is also called the Day of Judgement. This is the day where we are judged on our good and bad deeds from the previous year. This is where God writes us down in the Book of Life. On the New Year, it is written and on the Day of Atonement, it is sealed.
Since it is called the Day of Judgement and we wish to be written in the Book of Life. We make an extra effort to pray and ask for forgiveness, whether it be from God for doing a sin or from a friend we have wronged. We make an extra effort to be nice to each other as well, we also try and do good deeds. Finally, since many people get up in the middle of the night or very early in the morning to say these services. They could use the extra boost that only Coca Cola can give you.
