Just moments before a purported ceasefire was to take effect between Islamic Jihad and Israel, the terror group launched a barrage of rockets at Tel Aviv.
This already put the 10pm ceasefire in doubt, when it was ultimately smashed with multiple attacks in the Gaza region as rockets into Israeli territory well after 10pm.
Israel will most likely respond to the ceasefire infractions.
“The IDF is continuing to strike in Gaza,” an IDF statement read, following the second barrage.
Shortly afterwards, the IDF updated, “A short while ago, as a response to the rockets launched from the Gaza Strip, IDF aircraft struck two concealed rocket launchers belonging to the Islamic Jihad terrorist organization in the Gaza Strip.”
