Antisemitism in Canada has surged to alarming levels, with Jewish communities facing physical attacks, vandalism, and open hatred in public spaces. Synagogues, schools, and Jewish-owned businesses have been defaced, while violent rhetoric against Jews spreads unchecked on university campuses and social media. Despite the clear danger, the Canadian government has failed to take meaningful action, allowing this hatred to grow without consequence.

Rather than confronting the crisis, the government issues vague statements and symbolic gestures while ignoring the real threats Jewish Canadians face daily. Law enforcement often refuses to take decisive action against antisemitic protesters who glorify terrorism and intimidate Jewish citizens. Hate crimes against Jews are consistently underreported or dismissed, while those responsible face little to no punishment. The government’s so-called “zero tolerance” approach is nothing more than empty words, as antisemitic incidents continue to escalate.
Canada’s leaders have not only failed to protect Jewish citizens but have actively contributed to the problem through weak policies and appeasement of antisemitic groups. Instead of cracking down on extremists, the government tolerates pro-Hamas demonstrations and allows hate speech to flourish under the guise of free expression. Funding for Jewish security measures remains inadequate, and Jewish voices expressing concerns are often ignored or dismissed. The Canadian government’s failure to act has emboldened antisemites, leaving Jewish communities vulnerable and abandoned.
