WhatsappAs Bernie’s rise to the top of the Democratic is nearly complete, more and more people are recognizing that at the core, Bernie is a Marxist.
Just so we are clear here is a straight forward definition of Marxism:
Marxism is a political and economic way of organizing society, where the workers own the means of production. Socialism is a way of organizing a society in which the means of production are owned and controlled by the proletariat. Marx proposed that this was the next necessary step in the progress of history.
For over more than 40 plus years in politics and community activism, Bernie Sanders has championed worker and state control of just about everything. He has not shied away from his support of Fidel Castro, the Soviet Union, and the Sandinistas.
More than this, he claims that his model of socialism is closer to Denmarks and Norways, but the problem is that those countries are beginning to move away from socialism because it just doesn’t work.
Sanders believes in wealth redistribution and has said in the past that, “No one should make more than one million dollars.” Ultimately Bernie Sanders buys into the failed economic concept championed by Karl Marx. Those countries in the 20th Century that adopted socialism have now moved away from it.
So will people wake up and stop this Marxist from transforming America?
I hope so.
