WhatsappThe conflict between Israel and Gaza appears to be a sort of crossing the rubicon for the entire world. There has always been an assumption that the Middle East was sliding towards a major conflict involving Iran and its proxies against Israel, but what is going on has the potential to spiral out of control.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has threatened to declare war on Israel and send his military to Gaza. While the chances of that seem far fetched, nothing can be ruled out at this point. The fact is, Erdoğan has been eying a way to take advantage of the current conflict to take over contested Greek Islands and even the rest of Cyprus. With Israel stretched thin, Greece and Cyprus are not strong enough to hold back the might of the Turkish army.
If Cyprus would fall into Turkey’s hands, Israeli flights will be subject to Turkish control. A disaster for the Jewish state.
Iran Ready To Unleash Its Military and Proxies On Israel
From the beginning of the conflict, Hezbollah which is to Israel’s North, has steadily increased rocket fire down on the Galilee region as well as the Golan Heights. This was expected as Iran pulls its strings. However, the IRCG also has a strong presence in Syria and is beginning to fire rockets in from the Syrian Golan Heights. Iranian backed Shiite militias are also beginning to attack US bases through Iraq and Eastern Syria.
As the war intensifies, expect these attacks to increase. This includes more missiles being fired in from Yemen. Iran’s plan is to wipe out Israel and it does not need a nuke to do that – just a multi-front war.
So all of this begs the question – are we headed to a World War?
Quite possibly, but Jason Buttrill of the Blaze says in the above video. – we are in the “chaos stage” of the looming global conflict that is designed to weaken the west’s resolve and ability to fight across the globe. However, the switch from the chaos stage can flip into a final global war rather fast. Russia, Iran, Turkey, and China are all teaming up to make a push for destroying the West’s global hegemony and of course using Israel to start their attack. If they decide to jump in, the current conflict will quickly accelerate into WW3.
