Hanukkah is a festive holiday that is celebrated by Jews around the world. It is not supposed to be a time of sadness. But this year, Hanukkah went from happiness to sadness throughout America for millions of Jews. It is not just the tragedy of one madman who attempted to kill as many Jews possible. It is the fearless way that he literally walked into a Hanukkah celebration and attacked the people in their home. That was a chock to the system for any thinking person.
