This story is truly incredible. Taryn Thomas was taught to believe something. She fought for that belief. She led others in that belief. And to completely turn around and believe the opposite thing is not simple—especially when those around you won’t be willing to listen. Thomas is an example of the type of person that can actually open her eyes and see the truth. Some people really just are brainwashed and don’t know the facts. They don’t do their own research. And then when the truth smacks them in the face, they are actually willing to listen.
It’s amazing that Taryn said that going to Israel made her want to speak up about her new beliefs. There are so many people out there fighting for a fake cause and spreading lies about the one and only Jewish state. But maybe if they just come and see for themselves, they would realize what Israel really is. Israel and the Jewish people have nothing to hide. The country is moral. The people are G-d’s people. We represent truth and morality in this world. Come and see for yourself!
Because Taryn spoke up and shared the truth about Israel, who knows how many lives she changed? Who knows how many people started asking their own questions and building their own belief system based on truth? She went from standing on the very wrong side of history to standing on the very right side of history.
