WhatsappOnce again, we wake up to another “settler violence” headline racing around the world, with diplomats lining up to condemn Israel.
This time, the story centers on a Washington Post reporter injured while embedded among jihadi Muslims during a violent confrontation with Jewish residents in Judea and Samaria.
Yet before the full facts are established, what is the headline heard around the world?
“Settler violence.”
The narrative is already written, the diplomatic pressure has already begun from our allies. The investigation comes later.
But here is the tragic irony: the obsession of our “allies” in the West to find new ways to refocus global attention towards Israel as the bad guy, is blinding the West to the very same jihadi enemy tearing apart its own societies from within.
France is a warning. It is literally up in flames.
Years of uncontrolled Muslim migration, and governments afraid to name the ideology behind the threat are producing consequences that can no longer be ignored. And France is only the beginning. Italy, Belgium, Germany, Sweden, Britain etc. are all going to experience the exact same process.
Yet where is the global outrage at the red-green jihadi destruction of France right now? Crickets. Silence. Instead the choice is to focus on Jews defending themselves against these genocidal evil jihadi Muslims.
So, once again Israel is placed in the dock. Even Jews and rabbis rush to condemn “settler violence,” reinforcing a narrative eagerly exploited by Israel’s enemies before individual incidents have even been properly investigated.
We should understand what comes next.
Every sweeping accusation against Jews in Judea and Samaria becomes ammunition for the jihadi terrorists to attack us more, and for foreign governments to have another excuse to pressure Israel.
That is the bad news.
Here is the good news: Israelis increasingly understand the jihadi enemy we face.
We have lived through October 7. We understand the evil of jihadi Islam. We understand that ignoring an ideology does not make its violent manifestations disappear. And despite our mistakes and internal divisions, Israel will fight, survive and grow stronger.
My greater concern is for the West.
Western governments condemn Israel while refusing to confront jihad and the problem of Muslim migrants and immigrants within their own societies. They need to strip citizenship and deport anyone for supporting jihad.
Because the jihadi ideology threatening Israel does not stop at Israel, it is about taking over the world vis migration/hijra as practiced by Mohammad in the Quran.
The sad irony is that Western countries are so consumed with condemning Jews and the Jewish state that they have intent to confront the jihadi forces threatening their own societies.
Israel will endure.
The Jewish people have survived far worse than terrorism, propaganda and diplomatic pressure. We are back in our ancestral homeland, sovereign once again, and we are not going anywhere.
Stay strong. Strengthen your faith.
There will be difficult days ahead. I won’t lie. But hold on tight through the turbulence, because here in Israel we will overcome and thrive! We are back as sovereign in our ancestral homeland to fulfill our national destiny, and none of these powers of evil will stop us.
