Radical Islamic terrorism. How many leaders of the world are willing to stand up and plainly say exactly what the problem is. No speaking around the problem. No blaming the guns. Guns did not kill all of the Jews on Chanukkah. It was the cancerous ideology that espouses killing Jews that killed the Jews.
It is extremely challenging to fight against an ideology that has spread to hundreds of millions of people that contains a very violent thread of terrorism as part of it’s mindset. But the very first step in confronting any problem is properly labeling the problem.
President Trump may not have all of the answers. But at least he understands the problem. He is correct that all civilized nations and people must join together to confront this evil. It seems so simple to at least be able to label the problem. But that is exactly what is lacking these days in so many Western countries. France, England, Australia, to name just a few, are all struggling to simply label the problem. It is simply politically incorrect, so they avoid saying what needs to be said.
Most of the Democrat Party in the United States has similarly gone down that path. Any State in the United States that is run by a predominantly Democrat leadership is struggling to confront this issue as it can’t even get to step 1 – identifying the problem.
Australia will not improve by making it harder to buy guns. It will only make things worse.
