Our Enemies Should Back Down
What other nation or people would move to a country in the middle of a war? Actually, a country that is constantly fighting to defend itself. Only the Jewish people do this seemingly crazy thing. Why? Because the land of Israel is where G-d wants His people to live. We follow G-d’s word – even when it’s tough. It’s truly a remarkable thing if you think about it. These 225 Jews (and others on various flights throughout the summer, years, and decades) chose to come home. They chose to pick up their families and leave their familiar lives behind to embark on a journey and be a major part of Jewish history.
When you have a nation that loves G-d and the land G-d gave so much that they are willing to leave the comforts of life behind to start a new life, the enemies just won’t win. When you have dedication and commitment to follow G-d, no enemy can defeat us. G-d is on our side. He protects us. And we will continue to follow His word, no matter how hard it may be.
Look at history. Look at all the pogroms, persecutions, the Holocaust, October 7 – you’d expect us to fall apart and break. But we have only strengthened ourselves and our commitment to each other and to G-d.
