Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was asked during a Fox News interview if Israel was intending to take control of all of Gaza. He answered that “we intend to, in order to ensure our security, remove Hamas there, enable the population to be free of [Hamas], and to pass it to civilian governance that is not Hamas and not anyone who seeks the destruction of Israel. We want to liberate ourselves and the people of Gaza from the awful terror of Hamas.”

While the Prime Minister made it clear that Israel doesn’t want to rule over the Gazans, he also made it clear that Israel must hold onto to a buffer zone without delineating the size of the area. Given the latest control maps, it seems improbable that Israel will pull out of the northern and southern parts of Gaza as well as the Neitzarim corridor.

Referring to the Gazans that are protesting Hamas: “Finally, they see that they have a future. They can rid themselves of this awful tyranny that not only hold our hostages, but holds two million Palestinians in Gaza hostage. That’s got to end.”

“The only way that you’re going to have a different future is to get rid of this neo-Nazi army. Hamas are monsters,” Netanyahu declared.
