Trump’s Latest Peace Plan: Another Failed Attempt at Middle East Diplomacy

The recent reports of a post-Iran strike “euphoric” call between President Trump, Prime Minister Netanyahu, Senator Rubio, and Ambassador Dermer were jarring—not because of the celebration over a justified blow to Iran’s nuclear ambitions, but because of what came next: yet another peace plan, sold as historic, but carrying the same fatal flaws that have undermined every so-called solution for the Middle East for decades.

First of all, it is clear as day that this plan will never be implemented. Let’s stop pretending otherwise.

It’s more diplomatic noise, another round of empty talk to make headlines and appease international players while ignoring reality on the ground.

It is wrong, it is immoral, and it is dangerously unsafe.

Rewarding decades of terror with promises of statehood, or reinstalling the corrupt Palestinian Authority in Gaza, is not only a betrayal of justice, it puts Israeli lives at risk.

And for what? Neither Hamas nor the Palestinian Authority will accept the plan anyway. Hamas wants Israel erased. The PA simply wants it in stages.

Both will say no, as they always have, because their ultimate goal isn’t peace, it’s destruction. So it is quite disappointing that Netanyahu believes that we still have to play along with this farce.

Now let’s break down the leaked “plan”: there are some positive elements in this plan.

Any scenario that ends the Gaza war quickly with a total victory for Israel is a good thing. The proposed exile of Hamas leaders, the complete release of all hostages, and voluntary emigration options for Gazans make sense. They have no homes to remain in Gaza, and they are all itching to leave.

And most importantly, the plan reportedly includes U.S. recognition of partial Israeli sovereignty in Judea and Samaria. That is not enough, but it is not insignificant. It’s a necessary, long-overdue step toward correcting decades of diplomatic denial about Jewish rights in our ancestral homeland.

But now let’s talk about what’s wrong—dangerously wrong.

First, the mere discussion of a Palestinian state and the Palestinian Authority (PA) as a partner in any framework is not just disappointing, it’s delusional. The PA is corrupt to its core, rewards terrorism, and raises its children to hate Jews and reject Israel’s existence. Propping it up again under the guise of “reform” is the same recycled fantasy that has failed repeatedly since Oslo. There’s no reforming an institution built on rejectionism.

Second, the idea of Gaza returning to any form of Arab self-rule is a non-starter. Let’s be honest: every time Arabs have been given control over Gaza, it has turned into a terror enclave, first with the PA, then with Hamas. Why would anyone expect a different result now, simply because Egypt or the UAE are put in charge temporarily? It’s a Band-Aid on a cancer, especially as Egypt gladly assisted Hamas in its terrror against us all these years!

Gaza must never be under Arab rule again. It’s time to say what too many are afraid to: the only viable future for Gaza is Jewish sovereignty. Just like Judea and Samaria, Gaza is part of our biblical heartland.

It was a mistake to leave, and the price has been paid in blood and fire. The only true solution is making Gaza Jewish again—resettling Jewish communities and applying full Israeli sovereignty. That is how peace will come: through strength, clarity, and the restoration of truth. And with our enemies finally learning that anytime they try to kill us they lose the only thing they care about, land.

And Israelis know this now more than ever. Even many on the political left, especially in the south, who have lived for years under rocket fire and infiltrations, no longer have illusions. They want to see Gaza emptied of every Islamonazi, of every age, because they understand the truth: Hamas didn’t hijack Gaza. Hamas was Gaza. The population supported them. They killed us on Oct. 7th, they kidnapped our men, woman and children, and celebrated in the streets of Gaza as our captives, dead or alive, were paraded in the streets. This wasn’t just a radical fringe. It was the culture that bred the massacre.

So if this plan is real, how deeply disappointing it is that Prime Minister Netanyahu still can’t stand up and speak these truths to President Trump, or to the Arab world. He knows them. We all do. And still, we get more vague “frameworks” and recycled illusions.

The only real and just solution is full Israeli sovereignty over all of Gaza, Judea, and Samaria.

Arabs who want to live peacefully with us should do so under local municipal authorities, but there must be no terror-supporting Palestinian Authority, and absolutely no recognition of a Palestinian state. That idea must be buried, once and for all. All of it, all Judea, Samaria and Gaza, must be finally recognized as the Jewish state of Israel!

Only by us educating ourselves, and spreading these truths with our friends, family, Rabbis, educators, organizational leaders will we make this happen.

Only then can real peace, and true justice, begin.

It’s up to us!

Am Yisrael Chai!!!
