I’ll be honest — my emotions are all over the place.
And I know I’m not alone.
On the one hand, President Trump did what no other U.S. president ever had the courage to do: he led a direct American strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities, together with Israel, standing with Israel in action — not just in words. For that, we are grateful.
But what happened next? That’s what has so many of us stunned, angry, and trying to make sense of the bigger picture.
Because it was President Trump himself who proudly announced the ceasefire with Iran, claiming he “brought peace.” He declared the mission accomplished.

First of all, that is not how you end the threat of a regime led by a 1,400+ year genocidal jihadi ideology — not even allowing them to pretend that they were victorious in their local propaganda. This is the achilles heal of the West, including President Trump. They don’t get it. They think rational deals can be made with irrational, religious ideologues — but they can’t.
But, then what happened?
The Islamic Republic of Iran spat in President Trump’s face.
They violated the ceasefire almost immediately, with zero hesitation, zero fear, and total contempt.
They didn’t just defy the agreement — they humiliated the President of the United States in front of the entire world.
This wasn’t just a betrayal.
It was a calculated display of disrespect, not just toward Trump personally, but toward the very idea that Iran can ever be reasoned with.
They can’t.
This is not a regime looking for a diplomatic solution.
This is an Islamic theocracy obsessed with destruction — of Israel, of America, of anyone who stands in their way.
Meanwhile, on the ground here in Israel, reality hit us like a missile — literally.
As Prime Minister Netanyahu updated President Trump, after the announcement that the ceasefire would begin at 7am Israel time, my family and all Israelis, ran to our bomb shelter three separate times, as Iran kept firing ballistic missiles at us:
– first at 05:30 a.m. – Iran launched a barrage, murdering four Israeli civilians in Be’er Sheva.
– then at 07:06 a.m. – 6 minutes after the ceasefire took effect.
– then at 10:25 a.m. – Two more missiles fired into Israel.
Iran violated the ceasefire repeatedly and blatantly.
Israel responded, briefly, by destroying a radar installation near Tehran.
And then…we stopped, heeding Trump’s request and holding back from a much more impactful retaliatory attack on Iranian installations.
Why did Israel only do a small, inconsequential pinpoint strike?
Because Prime Minister Netanyahu spoke with President Trump, who had just gone public scolding Israel, blaming both sides equally, and chastising us for defending ourselves against a rocket that “didn’t do damage.”
Instead of thanking us, and encouraging us to retaliate in order to ensure Iran knows the price it would pay for breaking the ceasefire, he scolded Israel.
It was wrong. It was disgraceful. And frankly, he owes Israel an apology, but we know he doesn’t apologize.
And yet…
Here’s the part that’s hard to process:
We’ve seen this before.
Since the beginning of this Iran operation, President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu have been coordinated with strategic deception.
They say one thing publicly, sometimes even criticize each other, only to shock the world days later with perfectly synchronized actions.
Just weeks ago, headlines were flooded with reports about “growing tension” between Trump and Bibi.
Then, BOOM — a historic, joint U.S.-Israel strike on Iran’s nuclear program.
They fooled everyone.
So the question is:
Are we being fooled again — but for the right reasons?
Is Trump’s public rebuke a cover for something else?
Is this a pause in fire — or the calm before the next blow?
To add even more confusion, Trump just triumphantly stated that China will be able to continue to buy oil from Iran! That is not a good thing! That allows money to flow to the Islamic republic to rebuild all their military infrastructure to attack us in the future. Is that also part of the deception?
We don’t know. Not yet.
But here’s what we do know:
– The Islamic Republic of Iran is still standing.
– They’re still firing.
– They’re still enriching uranium.
– They will still try to outlive this administration and finish what they started after President Trump is no longer president.
It is important to always remember that this war was never about revenge for us.
It’s about survival — for Israel, for the Jewish people, and for the entire free world.
We are not safe until the Islamic Republic of Iran is replaced.
No ceasefire will change that.
No agreement. No delay. No illusion of peace.
And we, in Israel, cannot return to life as normal, not when our kids are still at home instead of school, not when the threat of Iranian missiles still exists, not while Iran’s jihadi ideology remains in power.
But despite it all — the fear, the frustration, the politics — we see something else unfolding, and I can never say this enough:
We see God’s hand.
Even Prime Minister Netanyahu, a leader not known for religious rhetoric, recently said:
“The largest faction in the Knesset today is ‘Siyata Dishmaya’ — Divine help.”
And he’s right.
We’re witnessing open miracles.
We’re watching a broken, divided nation find its faith, its voice, its strength.
“Hashem oz l’amo yiten, Hashem yevarech et amo v’shalom.”
“The Lord gives strength to His people. The Lord blesses His people with peace.”
This isn’t just about strategy.
This is about destiny.
We may be confused right now.
We may be angry.
But we are not lost.
Hashem is leading us — through fire, through darkness, toward redemption.
Do not let the confusion or the anger steer you away from this fundamental truth about our miraculous existence.
We will overcome!!!
Am Yisrael Chai.
