WhatsappWith the collapse of ceasefire discussions, the IDF continues to expand ground operations agains Hamas.
The IDF released the following statement today:
“IDF forces in the Southern Command continue to operate under the direction of the Intelligence Branch and the Shin Bet against terror organizations throughout the Gaza Strip, as part of Operation ‘Gideon’s Chariots’. Over the past 24 hours, the forces expanded ground maneuvers, eliminated terrorists and destroyed weapons depots and numerous other terror infrastructures, both above and below ground. In addition, the Air Force attacked dozens of targets throughout the Gaza Strip. Among the targets attacked were: terrorist cells, military structures of terror organizations in the Gaza Strip, tunnel routes, weapons depots and additional terror infrastructure. The IDF continues to operate in the Gaza Strip in order to protect the security of the citizens of the State of Israel.”
Gazen channels in Khan Yunis are reporting IDF engineering units breaking down the walls of the European Hospital, the very same building that housed a Hamas command bunker underneath where Mohammad Sinwar was eventually killed. Ground forces are making gains in every sector as Hamas begins to unravel.
