WhatsappThere is a common thread that unites violent and brutal people that support dictators. When there is violence, they celebrate. When there is peacefulness, they are miserable and spend their time plotting trouble. There is nothing surprising about Arabs in the Middle East celebrating violent killing of civilians. This is actually the norm for them. It is exactly the same way that they celebrate when Arabs kill Israelis.
Following the 9/11 attacks, Arabs all throughout Israel celebrated the defeat of America. Yes, they celebrated in the streets. Not a handful of crazy radicals, but mature men and women handing out candies to children. That is what Israel is dealing with on a day-in and day-out level. The peace-preferring Arabs are never able to grab power from the bloodthirsty violent tribal Arabs.
Putin has established himself as a brutal dictator who will go down in history as the leader who brought the 21st century into the abyss of creating millions of refugees and tens of thousands of wounded and killed Russians and Ukrainians. All of the suffering is due to his delusions of restoring Russian pride and grandeur.
Will this just be the beginning of a large-scale war between those who strive for Western freedom and brutal dictators? That depends on China. But Russia does not have the power to go it alone for much longer. Without China keeping the spigots open to Russia, Russia would buckle. But if China has nefarious ideas of it’s own with Taiwan that will be the follow up to the War in Ukraine, then we may be witnessing the beginning of World War III. Taiwan is no Hong Kong. It is armed to the teeth and prepared to fight back. Australia, Japan, and the United States all agree that Taiwan must be defended or China will take over all of Southeast Asia. Even Joe Biden, in his slumber, will feel obliged to do more than offer some bland support against Chinese aggression.
One thing is clear. The predominant goal of most Arabs in the Middle East is to bring down America, Israel, and the West. So if Russia, China, and Iran attack, they will have the support of masses of Arabs in the Middle East. In times like these, it becomes crystal clear where everybody stands as far as freedom vs. tyranny.
