Watch: What the Chinese Protests are Really About

by Phil Schneider

Glenn Beck claims that the mass protests in China are all about slavery. Yes, it is indeed about the harsh measures that China employs in their battle with the coronavirus. But, more than anything, this is about masses of people in China who are seemingly “employed” by government owned companies. How many people are involved in the protests? We don’t really know, but most estimates are that the numbers are well into the tens of thousands – perhaps in the hundreds of thousands.

Is this just the beginning of mass protests in China? Perhaps. If so, China will not be able to invade Taiwan for fear of internal mass protests. That is a very big deal.

China is a totalitarian country that has basically been employing millions of people in a way that keeps power centralized to the few heads of the Communist Party that are arguably the most powerful people in the world. But their power dissipates enormously to the extent that there are mass protests across China.

China, the country with the largest population in the world, and one of the largest navies in the world, is becoming richer and richer by the day. So, will Xi Jinping employ his massive army to invade neighbors? Well, right now, the main thing Jinping is worried about is internal rejection. This story is the number one issue facing the free world even though it may not feel that way right now. Protests in China today may become the largest mass protest movement in the history of the world. Stay tuned.
