President of Columbia is a Disgrace
Columbia University is supposed to be an Ivy League school. It is a prestigious place – or so it used to be. But when the president of this university, Nemat (Minouche) Shafik, refuses to condemn Hamas’ grotesque and horrifying assault on Israel on Oct. 7, what can you say about this so-called respected institution? The president has no sense of shame. She thinks it’s okay to rape innocent women and behead babies. She thinks it’s okay to hold innocent Israelis hostage and torture them in unimaginable ways.
You don’t need an Israeli or a Jew even to call out how wrong that is. Mosab Hassan Yousef, otherwise known as the “Son of Hamas,” has no issue berating this shameful president. He himself knows Hamas all too well. His father is one of the co-founders. Shafik has sunk so low that she needs the son of a Hamas founder to publicly tell her how immoral she is! What type of environment is she setting up at her university? What is she teaching all of the students about morals? This president is sending a loud and clear message. And it is truly a dishonor and a disgrace to Columbia. Shame on President Shafik and every other university president, professor, staff member, student, and really everyone in the world who can’t see blatant terrorism for what it is. It will only come back to bite them.
