The war on the Northern front continues to heat up as Hezbollah sends more and more drones, rockets, and ATGMs at Israel’s residents in the North.

Hezbollah directly hit a shopping mall in the Northern city of Kiryat Shmona, damaging the buildings exterior and causing no injuries. Kiryat Shmona has been hard hit since October 8th when Hezbollah opened a second front against Israel. Israel’s government is currently mulling if now is the time to expand the war and invade Lebanon to wipe Hezbollah.

“Anyone who thinks that they can harm us and that we will sit on our hands is sorely mistaken,” Netanyahu said during a visit to the northern city of Kiryat Shmona.

From the statement of the Chief of the General Staff, LTG Herzi Halevi: “We are approaching the point where a decision will have to be made, and the IDF is prepared and very ready for this decision. We have been striking here for eight months and Hezbollah is paying a very, very high price. Hezbollah has increased its attacks in recent days and we are prepared after a very good process of training up to the level of a General Staff exercise to move to an offensive in the north. Strong defense, readiness for an offensive, we are approaching a decision point.”

With the collapse of the hostage deal imminent and Northern residents fed up, Israel appears to be poised to strike back very hard against Hezbollah.
