Walking Tour of the Holiest Site to the Jewish People, the Temple Mount

According to Jewish law, Jews are only allowed to walk around the holiest of areas on the Temple Mount, after first taking a dunk in a mikveh, the Jewish ritual bath, to rid ourselves of the impurity on our bodies.

I was blessed to take part in the following walking tour which is provided for religious Jews, walking around the areas permitted for us to walk according to Jewish law.

While there are some Rabbis who forbid Jews from going up to our holiest site, there are plenty of Rabbis, contemporary and historic, who permit Jews to go up to the Temple Mount.

One extremely well known and well respected Rabbi who permitted was Rav Moshe Feinstein tz”l. His nephew, another great Torah giant, Rav Moshe Tendler, also permitted it and used to go up to the Temple Mount personally.
