A Pennsylvania judge has ruled that the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Secretary of State lacked the authority to extend the identification guideline a whole six days after the mail in ballot deadline.
“[T]he Court concludes that Respondent Kathy Boockvar, in her official capacity as Secretary of the Commonwealth, lacked statutory authority to issue the November 1, 2020, guidance to Respondents County Boards of Elections insofar as that guidance purported to change the deadline … for certain electors to verify proof of identification,” Judge Mary Hannah Leavitt said in a court order.
Now, while it is not clear how many ballots this affects, it is an important win for the Trump team for three reasons.
- Breaks down the media narrative that while there is nothing to see when it comes to overwhelming fraud, there is something to see when it comes to Democrat Party Members using their positions to unconsitutionally change election procedures to benefit one party over the other.
- Sets a legal precedent that the Secretary of State in Pennsylvania overstepped her authoritiy in this election. This is important because they need to lay the groundwork to disqualify more than 350k ballots that were unconstitutionally counted since poll watchers were removed from the premises.
- Give strength to Trump’s base across country and empowers local officials in other states like Michigan and Wisconsin to push for investigations and audits.
Will President Trump win because of the Pennsylvania ruling? No, but it hands him an important victory that may get the ball rolling in preventing a corporatist-globalist takeover of the USA.
