There are some undercover spies from Israel’s history that we know about, and there are some that their stories and lives are top secret. We might never know about them.
Two of the stories that we do know about are the stories of of Gamliel Cohen and Isaac Shoshan. How incredible these two men were! Those who give their lives for the survival of the Jewish people are truly heroic. There are special people out there who understand what it means to be part of the nation of Israel and who know the importance of the Jewish homeland.
We cannot all be undercover spies. We cannot all be on the front lines physically fighting to defend the Jewish people and the Jewish state. But we can all give of ourselves in some way to ensure the survival of the Jewish nation. Every person has something to give – even if it’s “just” a prayer. Prayers are crucial to the continuity of the Jewish people. G-d wants our prayers. He wants us to reach out to Him.
