A father and his two daughters were injured in a drive by shooting at the Tekoa junction in Eastern Gush Etzion yesterday.

The 35 year old father’s condition was listed as serious but stable and his daughters 14 and 9 suffered wounds from shrapnel.

While the road from Gush Etzion to Kiryat Arba has now been rerouted to avoid friction points with arabs, the Tekoa junction remains backed up and susceptible to attacks. The current government is allocating money for bypass roads throughout Judea and Samaria.

Bypass roads are quickly becoming the best way to provide safe and secure travel to Jews living in Judea and Samaria as well as a way of settling the Land of Israel.

The attack was claimed by Hamas.
