This NYC concert gave the world an important reminder. Despite all the uncertainty, G-d’s people are here to stay.

Beautiful and Powerful NYC Concert
Omer Adam is an Israeli singer. He gave a concert in NYC. But this wasn’t just any concert. This was a packed house. It was packed with proud Jews. Despite everything going on in NYC with Mamdani and in the world, the Jewish people at this concert proudly sang these ancient words. The words come from the Haggadah on Passover which is read by Jews all over the world. The words of the passage are, “That which stood for our ancestors applies to us as well. For it was not only one individual who stood up against us to destroy us. Rather, in every generation they stand up against us to destroy us. But the Holy One, Blessed Be He, redeems us from their hands.”
This video clip is around 20,000 Jews singing that last sentence of this passage. It is extremely powerful listening to them and to Omer Adam all sing this line together. It’s a moment that recognizes G-d as our Redeemer. It’s a moment that tells the world that the Jewish people are here to stay because G-d saves us and protects us. These words are a reminder to ourselves that we should not fear anyone but G-d because He is in charge, and we are His nation. And these words also tell the world that no matter how much they hate us, we will be saved.
Events like this one uplift the Jewish people spiritually. Even just watching the video can bring you to tears. Imagine being there in that packed arena! Those voices were deep in prayer. And G-d hears every prayer. We must remember not to give up hope. Keep praying. Keep being proudly Jewish. And remember that G-d is in control of everything and will never let His nation be destroyed.
