The FlyDubai attempted hijacking could have ended with another date in Jewish history of intense mourning. But G-d made miracle after miracle.
The Miracles on FlyDubai
As PM Benjamin Netanyahu said, “This is Hollywood on steroids.” What happened on the FlyDubai flight was terrifying beyond what any of us can imagine. But the miracles that took place are absolutely remarkable. This truly should have ended in tragedy. But G-d had other plans. There were so many ordinary people who became extraordinary heroes on that day.
Bibi gave those Israelis a massive compliment. He himself was in a special unit. But he felt that what they did—but were not trained for—was incredible beyond words. The way these Israeli civilians acted to save everyone is mind-blowing. They just acted. They didn’t stop. They didn’t take time to think and plan. It is as if they just all knew what to do. G-d had the right people on that plane to save it.
All we can do is thank G-d for saving the innocent people on that flight. We must recognize the good that He did for those people and the good that He continues to do for us. Open your eyes. See the miracles that exist all around us. Some are more obvious than others. But everything is good, and everything is from G-d.
