On who’s side is the United Nations? Is the UN anything but a mouthpiece for terrorist regimes around the world? The sad answer is that the UN has nothing to do with uniting the world. It is simply a method for non-respectable countries to put on a show of respectability that is laughable at best.
The United Nations needs a 100% makeover, a total reset. It should not be shut down. It needs to be reformed. President Trump may not choose to make this one of the things he tries to refom. But it needs his kind of disrupting attitude.
The only way that the United Nations will start to become a relevant and meaningful body will be when the decision-making body of the UN is a moral based group that is nominated through broad-based respectable people who have earned the respect of Western leaders. As long as tyrants continue to dominate the UN because of the large number of small non-democratic countries that wield much power in the UN, nothing significant will change.
Only when the UN is known for it’s morality will it’s voice be taken seriously across the world. Otherwise, the UN will continue to be a place where Hillel Neuer is one of the few voices of reason in a sea of lies.
