What freed Israeli hostages more than anything are the brave soldiers who have risked their lives to save the lives of these hostages. But additionally, it is the realization by the many bad actors of the world that President Trump is a different kind of President. He understands that pressure and threats are the only form of language that terrorists understand. President Trump deserves much of the credit. But the main reason that the rest of the hostages may be released is not the pressure of the families of the hostages. It is the pressure of the army.
These poor souls who lived through hell and survived say the obvious. The world under President Trump is simply a safer place because the dictators of the world now think twice and three times before acting. Moreover, it will be a world where the United States does not allow evil to grow, fester and spread. Whether the evil actors are from Russia, Iran, Yemen, or China, President Trump is right in noting that the common denominator is that they all pose a threat to the freedom-loving world.
The world is finally on a positive trajectory. Donald Trump is not all about words. He is a big talker and spends much of his time marketing his own ideas. But more than he talks, he means business. So, his threats are not empty and when he speaks, the world listens. The hostages in Gaza are not even one of his top ten topics that he is focused on. Yet, he has completely transformed the matter in his first month or two in office. He even changed the Middle East before he took over on Jan. 20th.
Will the Trump plan to completely redo the Gaza Strip into a Mediterranean Riviera come to fruition? Don’t be surprised if it does, but it will probably be towards the end of his term. It takes time to move hundreds of thousands of people, raze and clear an area that has more underground tunnels than the London railroad, and then begin building from scratch.
