There have always been a few pockets in the United States who voted in Congressmen or Congresswomen who were way outside of the mainstream. Their impact was minor. But in today’s day and age, more and more of the outliers are becoming mainstream. That is why what they say and do is much more important than in the past.

The election of Mayor Mamdani in New York City is not just a blip that will be viewed as a mistake that will never occur again. On the contrary, more and more cities are well on their way to electing more and more Mamdanis and Talibs. But this is not going on all over the United States. It is only happening in the States where illegal immigration and Democrat policies have made the cities untenable for millions who felt they had no future in their cities.
When the masses flee to the suburbs or elsewhere, it is a sure-fire signal that the city is on a downward spiral. California is one of the few exceptions where the largest city, Los Angeles, is just one of many cities in the State that have gone downward. Many counties in California have seen a widespread exit to Texas, Florida and other States where sane policies still dictate life.
But let us not make the mistake of normalizing the opinions of the radicals. They genuinely hope that the United States of America will fall and they see the bulk of the problems in the world through the prism of American colonialism and other false concepts that have never had more than a few grains of truth in them.
