We are the most inspiring story of humanity!
The Jewish people are indigenous people to our ancestral homeland Israel, with a majority of us exiled by the Romans 2,000 years ago, only to return en masse 2,000 years later and once again become sovereign in our ancestral homeland!
That in itself is a truly inspiring story for humanity. But that is not all.
Within only 70 years of returning as sovereign in our homeland, we have turned our country, our tiny little country, smaller than the state of New Jersey, into a world powerhouse in so many ways.
Incredible!
And I try to focus on those messages as much as possible.
Yet, as I look at what is going on today in Israel, in America and in the world, I see that some of the core values that the Jewish people stand for are under attack, and most people don’t understand.
So not always am I able to focus on inspiring people with the truth about Israel and the Jewish people, I also focus on the growing dangers.
Much of the danger today comes from the left. Is there a danger from some on the right? Yes, there are some crazies on the right, but the left has the backing and encouragement of the mainstream media and it is entrenched in politics as well, which makes it much more dangerous than the right today.
The left in Israel, the left in America etc. Today’s left is a worldview that removes G-d, downplays the importance of the family and family values, and delegitimizes so many of the important messages that G-d gave humanity via the Jewish people.
I have been speaking about the danger of the left for years, way before President Trump took office in 2017, in order to try to wake people up to the danger of what is transpiring in America and to stop it from growing in Israel. Because we have the same dangerous problem here in Israel as well. Hence the two are connected.
This is the reason I’m so vocal about what is transpiring in America today, including the upcoming elections. Never before has the dangerous power of the left been so clear to see, and so close to gaining political power to follow through with their agenda. Yet, at the same time, never before have so many people been blinded about that same danger to believe that it is actually a force of good. We are experiencing a total Orwellian reality and most people have no clue. Hence, I’m vocal, very vocal to help wake up whoever I can.
Let me give you an example. Some might think that this is not so important, but actually, it is.
Tell me this, why are white women going to dinners to learn how racist they are?
Yup, white women are paying money to go to special dinners organized to teach them how to accept their “inherent” racism.
The name of the initiative is “Race to Dinner” and the about section on the website explains that “The dinners are a starting point. A place to start thinking through how you actively uphold white supremacy every minute of every day.”
Did you get that? They believe that a white person automatically “upholds” white supremacy every minute of every day. What kind of despicable nonsense is that? Unfortunately, it is a nonsense that is growing in America today, which automatically makes every non-black person a racist unless they are actively “anti-racist”. How is this playing itself out on the streets of America? Well, all the real anti-racists are able to target and harass anyone they believe to not be anti-racist. And this is a dangerous reality that is already starting to play itself out in communities across the United States.
Was there a time when racism and white supremacy was prevalent in America? Yes, there was. But not today.
Does racism exist in America, sure it does, just like antisemitism exists.
But is America an antisemitic country? No, it is not. Just as America is NOT a racist country.
So why the growing focus on racism and white supremacy in America today?
Because it is an agenda that is out to destroy liberal and free America as we know it today. Those aren’t my words, those are the words of Barri Weiss, former New York Times Op-Ed editor in her recent article “Stop being Shocked”.
Understand, the irony. The struggle for anti-racism is basically racism because it is totally based on a person’s race. That is exactly what racism is! You don’t fight racism with racism. The way to fight racism is to no longer place emphasis on a person’s color but on their character and skills. That is the way one should fight racism, if they truly cared about fighting racism.
Most whites are not racist or white supremacists, yet the anti-racist movement sweeping through America today in Universities, schools, corporations, and through all aspects of life in America, is making everything about race! Again, that is racism.
The acceptance of this agenda that “anyone who is not actively anti-racist is a racist, and that all whites are inherently racist” is a major, major problem, undermining America and the Judeo-Christian values of America, and most people do not see it.
First of all, if America was truly a racist country then tons of people of all races, including blacks, wouldn’t be coming to America in droves, both legally and illegally.
So what do these dinners have to do with the destruction of Jewish values in America and the West? And why is this a problem for America and especially American Jews?
Again, Bari Weiss, former New York Times Op-Ed Editor, just detailed the growing danger of the “anti-racism” movement of the left in her recent article.
She explains how the fight against racism today, has morphed to be something totally different.
Weiss writes: “Racism is the gravest sin in American life. Who would ever want to be anything other than an anti-racist? And so under the guise of a righteous effort to achieve overdue justice and equality of opportunity for Black Americans, Kendi and his ideological allies are presenting Americans with a zero-sum choice: conform to their worldview or be indistinguishable from the likes of Richard Spencer.”
And who is to judge if someone or an organization or a corporation is an acceptable “anti-racist”? Well the movement of course that even wants to use the Federal government to enforce its destructive worldview.
As Weiss continues: “And just in case moral suasion is ineffective, Kendi has backup: Use the power of the federal government to make it so. “To fix the original sin of racism,” he wrote in Politico, “Americans should pass an anti-racist amendment to the U.S. Constitution that enshrines two guiding anti-racist principals [sic]: Racial inequity is evidence of racist policy and the different racial groups are equals.” To back up the amendment, he proposes a Department of Anti-Racism. This department would have the power to investigate not just local governments but private businesses and would punish those “who do not voluntarily change their racist policy and ideas.” Imagine how such a department would view a Jewish day school, which suggests that the Jews are God’s chosen people, let alone one that teaches Zionism.
It should go without saying that, for Jews, an ideology that contends that there are no meaningful differences between cultures is not simply ridiculous—we have an obviously distinct history, tradition and religion that has been the source of both enormous tragedy as well as boundless gifts—but is also, as history has shown, lethal.
By simply existing as ourselves, Jews undermine the vision of a world without difference. And so the things about us that make us different must be demonized, so that they can be erased or destroyed: Zionism is refashioned as colonialism; government officials justify the murder of innocent Jews in Jersey City; Jewish businesses can be looted because Jews “are the face of capital.” Jews are flattened into “white people,” our living history obliterated, so that someone with a straight face can suggest that the Holocaust was merely “white on white crime.”
As Weiss delineates the specific dangers this anti-racist movement is for American Jewry, it is just as dangerous for all Americans. According to this anti-racism movement, people/organizations/companies can be punished because they think differently, whether about sexual orientation, religious beliefs etc. Once they define something as being wrong, like believing same-sex marriages are wrong and being an injustice to LGBTQ etc. then the person who believes that must be punished by the government. Those beliefs must be stopped.
The principles of freedom that G-d gave to humankind via the Jewish people will be taken away by this anti-racism movement.
As well as the Jewish principle of meaningful differences.
A basic premise that G-d brought to the world with the Jewish people is that meaningful differences exist. Night is different from day, man is different from woman, the culture of the Jewish people is different from other cultures, and the land of Israel is different from other lands. All cultures are unique and all countries are different. We are not supposed to be the same. We are supposed to celebrate our differences and learn from each others differences.
Yes, racism is bad and racists should be called out. But, anti-racism is also bad and it also has to be called out. Yet, the anti-racism movement in America is growing, and that is dangerous for all of us.
America is a country of immigrants, as is Israel. Both are “promised lands”, America the promised land of economic opportunity for all, and Israel, the promised land for the Jewish people.
The left is now using this anti-racism movement to destroy the freedoms that made America America, and turn American Jews against their own unique Jewish identity and homeland. And the left in Israel is trying to destroy those same Jewish concepts that are the bedrock of what make Israel the promised land for the Jewish people.
That is why I’m vocal about what is transpiring in America today.
