Peterson Had a Great Response About Antisemitism on Social Media
Jordan Peterson loves Israel and the Jewish people. He mentioned some important things in his quick response to a question about antisemitic conspiracy theories floating around the internet. These are not new blood libels. Jews have been hated for thousands of years. The hatred just takes on new forms. And nowadays, the Jew-haters use Israel as the excuse. But to make it clear: If you hate Israel, you hate the Jewish people. You can’t claim to only hate the Zionists. Again, it’s an excuse that haters use to make themselves seem like they are moral individuals.
Of course one can disagree with policies or governments. But we all know that antisemitism isn’t about that. They don’t disagree with certain Israeli policies. What they disagree with is the idea that the Jewish people and a Jewish state should exist. They want to eliminate G-d’s people from this world.
So many of these antisemites cry out in the name of social justice. But they are so, so morally confused. They claim to fight for life and liberty, and instead, they condemn Israel’s morality and support terrorists and murderers.
