Despite the naysayers, normalization between Israel and Saudi Arabia appear to be moving fast towards a final peace deal.

While most observers believed that Saudi Arabia’s insistence that “palestine” be included in a deal, would scuttle talks, it has been cleared that Saudi Arabia would rather sign a deal even if “palestine” never materializes.

For the second time in weeks an Israeli delegation arrived in Saudi Arabia. This time the delegation arrived during Sukkot and prayed with the four species, a sefer Torah, and prayer shawls. This is a first and portends something big is coming.

Yes, there are many hurdles down the road for normalization, but its clear it is happening – with or without the “palestinians”.
