Iran conducted war games in the Persian Gulf this past week in what is considered and open response to Israel’s threats of a preemptive strike on the radical Islamic regime’s nuclear program.

“These exercises had a very clear message: a serious, real … warning to threats by the Zionist regime’s authorities to beware of their mistakes,” Guards chief General Hossein Salami said on state TV. “We will cut off their hands if they make a wrong move… The distance between actual operations and military exercises is only a change in the angles of launching the missiles.”

The exercises included the firing of 16 ballistic missiles of different classes that were aimed at and destroyed predetermined targets.

These ballistic missiles have ranges of up to 2,000km and can reach US bases in the region as well as Israel. Israel has made it clear it will not allow Iran to have nuclear weapons.
