Holocaust Survivor Shares a Message With the Jewish People
Yes, it can sometimes feel comfortable living in America, Europe, or anywhere else in the world – even as a Jew. But there is only one place the Jewish people are meant to be. And that one place is Israel. G-d gave us a gift. He gave us His special, holy land. It may not always be easy to live in Israel, but don’t you want to be part of Jewish history unfolding in the Jewish homeland? Don’t you want to be living amongst your fellow brothers and sisters and not live in fear of if the next antisemitic attack will be directed at you?
As this Holocaust survivor who also served in the IDF said, “There’s no doubt about it that we need a state where we can be Jews. Here in Israel, we respect everybody. And that’s why if we want to live a Jewish, free life, it has to be here. There’s no other place where you can feel sure. Especially in these days.” His message is extremely important for every Jew to hear.
It’s special to live in G-d’s land. There is a feeling about it that you can’t explain. The way that children grow up knowing this is the only place to live. The way they understand what it means to be a Jew. The way they feel close to G-d. You can’t compare it to anything else. Just come home and you’ll see for yourself…
