This is a heartbreaking interview. There’s so much to learn from it. There’s pain. But there is also an unbreakable spirit.
A Must-Watch, Heartbreaking Interview
This whole story is gut-wrenching. Tze’ela Gez was a uniquely special person. Our enemies murdered her while she was on her way to the hospital to give birth to new life. And this is exactly the story of the Jewish people. We love life. We build. We create. And our enemies? They murder. They break. They destroy. This horrific terrorist attack should wake up the world to what the Jewish people are all about and what our enemies are all about. How much clearer can it be? What sane person can claim that this woman was doing something wrong by bringing more life into this world? This should disgust every person! Somehow though, many in the world will not condemn the brutal attack. They don’t care when Jewish blood is spilled – whether it’s in the Jewish homeland or anywhere else in the world.
The thing is though, our enemies keep trying to break us. And even Tze’ela’s husband, Chananel, refuses to be broken. He won’t let our enemies win. Chananel has shown the world what the Jewish people our all about. Despite his pain and sadness, his faith is unshakeable.
We know that we have a purpose in this world. We cannot always see why what G-d does is good, but we know that it is. The road has been long and sometimes painful. There have been many bumps and moments of suffering throughout the story of the Jewish people. But there have also been many moments of joy and triumph. And in the end, the redemption will come. G-d will bring it. We must continue to pray and do everything in our power to bring it now.
