Hamas has taken its war to Jerusalem. A 16 year old terrorist from Eastern Jerusalem stabbed two border police today by the Flowers Gate, just outside of Jerusalem’s Old City.

MDA paramedic Nadav Tayeb said, “When we arrived on scene we found an unconscious approximately 20 year old female, and a 20 year old male who was walking. We immediately began treating them and evacuated them to the nearby Mount Scopus Hospital, with the female in critical condition and the male in mild condition.”
A police spokesperson confirmed the identity of the terrorist as a 16-year-old from Isawiya, as well as his death.
“Meanwhile, police forces arrested an additional suspect near the scene, and his connection to the terrorist and terror attack are currently under investigation,” the spokesperson added. “The area of the terror attack and Sultan Suleiman Street have been closed to traffic until management of the scene is completed.”
With the war against Hamas continuing, Jerusalem will continue to heat up. A few days ago, security services eliminated a wanted terrorist in Abu Dis. From the beginning of the conflict, Israel has put more and more security personnel in the eastern neighborhoods of Jerusalem. While there has been an uptick in violence, the extra police and border police that have been deployed has been kept violence to a minimum – until now.
