If you have a hard time understanding the evil that could lead masses of people to support attacking, kidnapping, and torturing hundreds of Jews – just because they are Jews – for 471 days, then you are normal. If you are one of those who support the “struggle” of the so-called “palestinians” against the so-called “occupation,” and therefore has demonstrated or supported in any way the torture of Jews, then be aware that you have joined the side of evil in this world.
Sometimes, it is just that simple. Good people do not torture other people. Good people do not attack other people. Good people do not use their own children as shields and then scream that their children are getting killed. And yes, good people do not yell “kill the Jews,” the age-old clarion call that unites all anti-semites all over the world. The Jews in Israel are no longer like the Jews of the exile. We will not die and mourn as Jews have done for centuries. The Israeli Jews hit back hard and kill their enemies.

The crime that nearly all of the Jews that were taken hostage committed was that they chose to dance at a music festival or to live near the border of Gaza. These small Israeli villages were known for their pastoral scenery, and for having a very peace-loving and appeasement-filled outlook towards the Arabs who lived in Gaza. One of the victims of the Oct. 7h massacre led interfaith meetings just weeks before the mass attack and massacre by thousands of Gazan Arabs.
The horrible truth is that Israel does not have any reasonable chance for a peaceful future with the Arabs in Gaza unless Israel does the following three things. First off, they must disarm every last Arab in Gaza. There is simply no room whatsoever for another armed entity from the Mediterranean till the Jordan outside of the State of Israel. That is the Israeli version of “From the River to the Sea.” Otherwise, Israel will simply face endless attacks. Secondly, Israel must financially encourage a constant stream of emigration from Gaza to other Arab countries – especially Qatar. The United States of America should use it’s leverage to encourage Qatar to do it’s part as a way of punishing Qatar for funding much of the Hamas terror network in Gaza.
Lastly, Israel should be completely uncompromising on the idea of textbooks in Gaza. Those who choose to stay should know that they will be educated in a manner that runs totally counter to the manner that they may believe. If they still want to stay in order to have Israeli medical coverage and other goodies that Israel hands out, they must decide to renounce textbooks that teach young children that Israelis are the devil. This is so basic and obvious. But it is not the norm today. UN-funded Hamas textbooks basically villify all Jews in ways that Nazi textbooks villified Jews.
This is the only reasonable prescription for a peaceful future in Gaza. It will take a generation or two as it did following World War II in Germany. But, reeducation and mass population transfer is effective and does work. But it requires decades of consistency and perseverance.
