South Africa’s case at the World Court has been knocked down.

While the ICG decided that some of Israel’s actions fall within the Genocide Code. “At least some of South Africa’s complaints appear to be capable of falling within the Genocide Convention.” While this appears to be a blow to Israel, the Hague refused to order a ceasefire which was what South Africa wanted.

The ICJ also noted during its verdict on the case against Israel that it was “extremely concerned about the status of the Israeli hostages and calls for their immediate release.”

South Africa conveniently refused to refer to the October 7th pogrom as the reason for Israel’s invasion of the Gaza Strip. The fact that the ICG referred to this was a big blow to South Africa.

It should be noted that the ANC who ruled South Africa has been itself accused of genocide against white South African farmers as well as black South African farmers who support them. The ANC is known as a corrupt political party who subjugates their citizens and is a human rights violator.
